What is Caddo Behavioral?
Caddo Behavioral is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized ABA services that empower individuals with autism and their families to learn, grow, and thrive together.
ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in-home and community settings focuses on teaching meaningful skills within an individual’s natural environment—where they live, work, and engage in daily life. This approach supports the development of communication, social, and adaptive skills in real-life situations, making progress more practical, relevant, and sustainable across the lifespan.
Family Guidance/Supports
Family guidance and support in ABA involves working closely with caregivers to help them understand behavior patterns and implement effective, evidence-based strategies in everyday routines. It focuses on empowering families with practical tools and coaching so they can confidently support skill development and positive behavior change outside of direct therapy sessions.
Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams
Collaboration with educators, occupational therapists (OTs), and speech therapists (STs) involves working as a coordinated team to ensure consistent support across all environments. This partnership helps align goals and strategies so the individual receives cohesive, well-rounded care that strengthens communication, learning, and daily living skills.
BCBA/BCaBA Supervision
BCBA and BCaBA supervision involves providing structured, ongoing guidance to ensure ethical, effective, and high-quality implementation of ABA services. This includes training, feedback, and performance oversight to support professional growth while maintaining fidelity to behavior-analytic principles and client-centered care.
BCBA + Founder
Caddo Behavioral was founded by DeTrevion B. James, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst in Texas with over seven years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children, adolescents, & adults diagnosed with autism. He is passionate about delivering compassionate, individualized care that focuses on functional communication, natural environment teaching, and meaningful behavior support. He believes in working closely with families and collaborating with each learner’s support team—including educators and therapists—to create practical, real-life outcomes. His approach is rooted in empowering caregivers, honoring neurodiversity, and helping every learner build the skills they need to thrive in their everyday environments.
Caddo Behavioral was also founded as a reflection of his roots in Caddo Parish, Louisiana—the community that shaped who he is and instilled in him the value of showing up for others.
